Recommendations for patients allergic to fungi

  • Fungi are a complex group of microscopic organisms, generally multicellular (except for yeasts), which are grouped in the kingdom Fungi. They are responsible for numerous cases of rhinitis, rhinoconjunctivitis and chronic asthma.
  • To control the clinical manifestations of fungal allergic disease, the necessary drugs (antihistamines, corticosteroids, bronchodilators, etc.) should be used. The use of allergy vaccines in selected cases is the only way to modify the course of the disease.
